This versatile four-section monopod provides outdoor explorers with a lightweight and portable, yet amazingly sturdy mounting for on-the-go use with spotting scopes, cameras, L-adapter equipped binoculars and more.
This rugged four-section monopod has a hidden fold-out mini tripod stand stored inside the monopod tube that, when deployed, provides extra stability when needed. When the fold-out tripod is deployed without a spotting scope or other instrument attached, the Tritech II-M Pro Self Standing monopod can stand upright by itself to temporarily free your hands. To avoid tipping, always keep a hand on the monopod when an optical instrument is attached.
The Orion Tritech II-M Pro Monopod is made of high-strength aluminum for rigid stability. With a maximum extension of 64.25 inch (65.6 inch with fold-out tripod deployed), the compact monopod collapses down to just 23.5 inch for storage and transport. Quick-release clamping leg locks make it easy to adjust and optimize the monopod height. The widest monopod section measures 1.4 inch (34.6mm) in diameter and features a comfortable foam grip and wrist strap. The thread-on fold-out mini tripod stand has a 19-3/4 inch diameter footprint.
Simply add an optional pan head or binocular adapter and you're all set for on-the-go adventures with your favorite spotting scope, camera, or binocular. A reversible 3/8 inch and 1/4 inch-20 threaded post makes pan head attachment easy. A carrying pouch with drawstring is included.
